UPCOMING TOURS of LOCKWOOD STUDIOS - DECEMBER & JANUARY
Do you need a new studio, workspace or office for long term use - or know someone who does?
Calling creatives, entrepreneurs, charities, educators... anyone who may fit our vision for a vibrant community hub that supports creativity and well-being.
Lockwood Studios in Guildford is a large complex of diverse indoor spaces (from 50 sq ft to 1600 sq ft) including studios, meeting rooms, a large venue plus outdoor areas too.
We have TOURS OF LOCKWOOD STUDIOS AVAILABLE TO JOIN ON FRIDAY 13th DECEMBER and in the NEW YEAR.
Folks are snapping up spaces quickly and we urge you to come see what the fuss is about :)
Lockwood Studios is located in Slyfield Industrial Estate (just off the A3) in Guildford, Surrey, that has just been green-lit by (but is independent of) the local council. The facilities are already good but we aim to build upon them. High speed wi-fi, office support, audio-visual facilities, on-site multi-media team, rehearsal spaces, recording studios, social media booths, performance venue, cafe and even a shop, selling items made by resident creatives.
As a resident, you could focus on your work alone but also choose to share ideas, collaborate and socialise with a community of creative and socially conscious people. If you're an artist or craftsperson who needs workspace, or someone who is developing a new social enterprise or charity, or an entrepreneur who engages with excluded young people, the disabled or those with learning difficulties, or an emerging small businesses working with new technologies, online media, gaming, etc; or someone who is working to enhance people’s well-being or the environment... we would love to hear from you. And even if you're not on that list, please do get in touch, if you particularly like the sound of what we're up to!
Occupants already include individuals, businesses and charities involved in music, fitness, video, print, ceramics, painting, young people, well-being, events and festivals.
Lockwood Studios is run by people who are committed to establishing an inclusive, local community hub that nurtures creativity and well-being in all its forms. We also feel the costs of rental for long or short use are good value.
So, if you would like to join a TOUR OF LOCKWOOD STUDIOS, please send an email to [email protected] indicating which day and which time slot you would like to attend, from the following options:
Friday 13th DECEMBER 2024 at either: 5pm, 5.30pm, 6pm or 6.30pm.
Sunday 12th JANUARY 2025 at either: 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm or 3.30pm.
Monday 13th JANUARY 2025 at either: 5pm, 5.30pm, 6pm or 6.30pm.
To secure your place, please RSVP now and we will reply as quickly as we can to confirm.
At the end of each tour, we will take expressions of interest or draft agreements with a view to securing studio, workshop or office space.
