Borderlands Artists' Consortium are a lively group of professional artists from the borders of Surrey, Sussex, and Hampshire. We meet monthly for a variety of activities, and our members include painters, sculptors, printmakers, installation artists, applied artists and photographers.
New House Art Space is a new creative & cultural hub and gallery in the heart of Guildford. A re-purposed building housing 20 artist studios.
Having a studio at New House makes you a part of a progressive creative community. Our artists and makers benefit from access to secure, well maintained facilities with 24/7 access, a gallery, and assistance with marketing and PR. You also get complimentary membership at New House, discounts at local coffee shop Canopy Coffee and your profile on our artist directory.
Despite the challenges of Covid-19, Woking Art Society continues to thrive and is open to members and non-members alike – albeit through the wonders of technology until further notice.
Although we have both professional and amateur artists amongst our members, you don’t need any specific artistic ability to join this friendly Society, just an interest in the visual arts. Guests are always welcome too, either at our monthly meetings in Knaphill when they resume or to view the online demonstrations that are currently replacing them. Non-members can also participate in the workshops that are part of our 2021 programme. Visit the Programme page for full details.
Exhibitions are important events in the Society’s calendar and we’re planning to stage our main exhibition and sale at The Lightbox in late September/early October, along with others elsewhere later in the year. However, while we wait to see how quickly the vaccines enable everyone to return to some degree of normality, we’re running an online exhibition and sale to keep our members on their toes! Please visit the Competition Gallery for details and to view.
The Dorking Group of Artists meets on Tuesday afternoons at Beare Green Village Hall from September through to Easter. Membership is open to artists of all abilities, from beginner to professional and costs just £25 per calendar year. The activities programme is varied and includes workshops and demonstrations.
(Outdoor painting and sketching during the summer months).

All of our members enjoy the world of clay.
Many of our members are makers and produce domestic, decorative and sculptural ceramics. They may be teachers, professional ceramicists or enthusiastic amateurs.
The Society also welcomes members who have a general interest in ceramics but who are not actively makers.
