We are a community, not-for-profit theatre group, occupying a professionally designed theatre space. We produce a variety of shows, year-round, as well as showcasing affiliate groups on our stage. We have a thriving group for youngsters (Nomes Youth Theatre), a regular community lunch & speaker event (Prompt Corner – get involved by emailing), the amazing annual event Play In A Week and plenty of opportunities to socialise at a Club Night, social event.
Guildford School of Acting at the University of Surrey is one of the most highly regarded theatre schools in the UK with a vibrant community of performers, performance makers, creative practitioners and technicians graduating from our wide variety of programmes each year.
Building on a heritage of over 80 years and our reputation as arguably the leading musical theatre school in the world, we are passionate about helping our students to develop the practical, inter-personal and intellectual skills needed to make them employable in today’s highly competitive and ever-evolving creative industry.
The Peaslake Players has been around for almost 70 years. We have a great base of talent around Peaslake village but we are always looking for more.
We put on 3 performances per year, covering a wide range of genres, including dramas, musicals, comedy, tragedy, and including a spectacular pantomime every other year.

based in Compton Village, Surrey. We are a friendly, family based group with high standards in all aspects of our very professional productions. We were established in 1982 by a group of enthusiastic actors, many of whom are still involved in some shape or form.
We aim for three productions a year, a musical or panto in January, a Summer play and a comedy dinner/drama in the Autumn.

Brightlight Theatre Company is an amateur theatre group based in the Farnborough and Frimley area, in Hampshire and Surrey.
We are a friendly group made up of men and women of all ages and we welcome members of all abilities and interests. Our emphasis is primarily on having fun whilst providing high quality theatre for our audiences; there is plenty to be in involved in whether your interest is on or off the stage.
We perform at least three shows a year (comedies, mysteries, dramas) and also work on smaller studio productions which we sometimes perform to the public and sometimes just to the group as this gives us a chance to explore something different. We've also been very successful in local Festivals winning Best Lighting in 2017 and Best New Play in 2016.
We meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in Farnborough for rehearsals, and perform three productions a year in April, September and December at St. Peter's Church Hall in Frimley.
A percentage of all our ticket sales are donated to KatCanDo in support of the amazing work they do to support local cancer patients. Please feel free to come along on any Tuesday but if you want to let me know that you are coming then I can make sure I am there to meet you and introduce you to the group.
