For their summer concert, in the peaceful setting of St Andrew’s Church, Farnham, the Waverley Singers perform Gabriel Fauré’s much loved ‘Requiem’, along with Hubert Parry’s ‘Songs of Farewell’, and other reflective works by Gibbons, Purcell, and Stanford. Interval drinks will be on sale, and a retiring collection will support the Cheryl King Trust. The choir will be conducted by Philip Scriven on the organ, and the conductor is Richard Pearce.

The Waverley Singers is a long-established, friendly and enterprising choir of around 100 singers, based in Farnham, Surrey.  Our musical director is Richard Pearce.

We perform four or more concerts a year with professional soloists and instrumentalists, in venues which include St. Andrew’s church, Farnham, St Lawrence’s church, Alton, Farnham Maltings, St Andrew’s Garrison church, Aldershot, and Guildford Cathedral.
