Godalming-based LynchPin Theatre presents "I take your hand in mine..." a play suggested by the love letters of Anton Chekhov and Olga Knipper by Carol Rocamora.
Russian playwright Anton Chekhov wrote 412 love letters to actress Olga Knipper, and she as many to him, during their six-year relationship before Anton, aged 44, died of consumption. With great sensitivity, Chekhov scholar and translator Carol Rocamora weaves together a rich and passionate tale of love, longing, rapture and despair, while also giving us a glimpse into the creative minds of the great Moscow Art Theatre.
Join us at Petersfield Museum for this celebration of love on the evening after Valentine’s Day, Weds Feb 15 at 19:30.
