The first in a new series of monthly lunchtime trio jazz concerts at Guildford Institute in the heart of Guildford in the historic Assembly Room at the Institute which has a grand piano. Lunch is available from 12 to 2pm, and the performance is a single one-hour set from 2 to 3pm. This opening concert features the pianist and composer Terence Collie with Sophie Alloway on drums and Marianne Windham on bass. With sold-out shows in 2024 at prestigious venues like the 606 Club and Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho, Terence Collie captivates audiences with his virtuosity and innovative compositions.  “Goddess of groove” Sophie Alloway has played drums for all the finalists in the BBC Young Jazz Musician 2024.
