
Under the baton of conductor Elspeth Wyllie, Horsley Choral Society will be celebrating 100 years of music from TV this summer with a concert entitled ‘From Screen to Stage‘ There will be music, both ancient and modern, all recognisable having featured ‘on the box’; everything from Mozart to The Vicar of Dibley! HCS is keeping the concert on 21st June (7pm) very local, the venue being East Horsley Village Hall, where special guests St Lawrence Chobham Handbell Ringers (who are planning something rather special!) will join the choir.
