Chobham Festival brings diverse music, art, theatre and cultural events and glorious flower festivals to delight, entertain and enrich the community life of our Surrey village.
We are a not-for-profit group seeking to make events as accessible and affordable for as many people of all ages as possible.
We also make a donation each year to our beautiful parish church, which hosts many of our events, and from time to time, have been able to support additional projects.

Welcome to Godalming Performing Arts Festival which also includes Music, Dance, Musical Theatre and Speech & Drama.
In a year other than 2020 we have many classes to cater for all ages and all levels of ability. Most classes are competitive, with a mark awarded but we also have non-competitive classes in most music sections. All entries receive instant feedback from an experienced professional who will also write a short report on each performance and which is presented at the end of each class. The Festival is divided into sections for each of which there is a different secretary dealing with entries and enquiries. Please see the “Contact Us” page to get in touch.

Held in July on Lion Green in the heart of Haslemere the event has grown in numbers and reputation and organisers are hopeful the postponed event now scheduled to take place on July 2nd to 4th 2021 will be bigger and better than ever before.
The festival also engages with local schools as pupils contribute everything from poetry to artwork and many of the talented young bands who are featured on stage. The Fringe Festival team would like to thank all the schools and pupils for all their hard work on this year’s event and look forward to working with them and youth clubs, colleges and other local groups in 2021.
