This workshop with Nagihan Seymour will include an overview of the history and origins of this ancient art form. Attendees will learn, step by step, how to draw and paint one of the traditional stylized floral motifs, which is the ‘Hatayi’.

These sessions are aimed at adults of all abilities, from complete beginners through to confident artists. Materials are provided, but if you bring your own please ensure you only use dry materials, such as pencil or pastel or a refillable water pen for the safety of the artworks on display. No wet materials including paints or pens or open water pots are allowed inside the galleries.
